Frequently Asked Questions

About Rebels United

Who benefits from donations? Every donation goes directly toward buying sports equipment and running free sports and preventive health care activities for people who can't otherwise afford them. Your support helps us reach individuals and communities who would otherwise be excluded from these opportunities, giving them access to the same activities and health benefits as everyone else.

How does Rebels United use its funds? Funds are used to purchase sports equipment and to run free sports and preventive health care activities for people who cannot afford them otherwise.

Who can take part in your activities? Our activities are open to anyone who cannot otherwise afford access to sports and preventive health care, including disabled individuals and others facing financial barriers.

What sports and activities do you offer? We offer [list activities, e.g. wheelchair basketball, adapted football, swimming sessions] alongside preventive health care activities designed to keep people active and healthy, regardless of ability to pay.

Donating

How can I make a donation? You can donate [online via our website / by bank transfer / in person at events] — every contribution, big or small, helps us provide free sports and health activities to those who need them most.

Volunteering

Can I volunteer? Yes, absolutely! Rebels United is run by disabled volunteers, and we're always looking to grow our team with people from a mixture of backgrounds and experiences. Whether you bring skills in sports coaching, health care, admin, fundraising, or something else entirely, there's likely a place for you to help us grow. Get in touch and we'll find the best way to put your skills to use.

Do I need experience to volunteer? No prior experience is necessary — we welcome volunteers with all kinds of backgrounds and skills. Whether you're experienced in sports coaching, healthcare, admin, or just enthusiastic to help, we'll find a role that fits.

I'm disabled — can I still volunteer? Yes! Rebels United is run by disabled volunteers, and we actively welcome disabled people to join our team. We believe lived experience strengthens the work we do.

Getting Involved

How can I get involved beyond volunteering or donating? [You could mention: spreading the word, corporate sponsorships, equipment donations, fundraising events, etc.]
